FULL LENGTH NOVEL
You can’t go home again, but if you do, pretend you want to be there.
Dr. Madison Shay has left Chicago and moved back to her small town roots to take over her father’s medical practice. She’s not the skinny, gawky red haired, four-eyed girl any longer but it sure feels that way. She still remembers the painful teasing from her classmates and always feeling like she didn’t belong. She wants this time to be different but deep down she knows she’ll never be part of the cool crowd.
Sheriff Tanner Marks might have been the captain of the football team years ago but things aren’t as rosy now. He has a son who hates him, and an ex-wife who is about to marry a man Tanner thinks might be a criminal. He doesn’t really have time in his life for a woman. Considering the things he’s done in his past, he’s not sure he deserves one either. He can’t help but feel envious of his friend, Seth Reilly, though. He found the love of a good woman. Is it too much to ask that fate send him someone as well?
Madison and Tanner aren’t looking for love but it feels like the town has other plans. They keep finding themselves thrown together and it’s not unpleasant in the least. In fact, they’re starting to enjoy themselves. There just might be a future for them after all.
When a drug war between two cartels breaks out, their little town is caught in the crossfire. Tanner will call in every favor he can, from the five cowboy cops he trusts most in the world, to keep his town and the woman he loves safe. He’s going to show the bad guys what cowboy justice really means.
Publisher’s warning This book contains hot sex scenes between a sexy small town sheriff and his very lucky woman, including action in the shower, on the kitchen table, and in front of a roaring fire.

Justice Healed Book 2 Cowboy Justice Association edition by Olivia Jaymes Romance eBooks
Justice Healed (Cowboy Justice Association Book 2) by Olivia JaymesOlivia Jaymes was a new author for me, the subject matter looked like it would have the elements of a good read, and the
e-book was free. What more could I ask for at this point?
Justice Healed, turned out to be a fun, playful, true to life themed story, with a bit of suspense, and a fair bit of action. The plot was simple but well written, with additional side threads to add complexity and dimension to the story, as well as expanding on the lives and roles of the 5 other cowboys /officers.
The romance was tender and sweet, growing from smoldering to hot. It was nice to read a book where both the H/h were well out of their twenties, educated, employed, and not perfect. The sex scenes were tasteful, and complementary to the story line, never becoming the focus of the books plot. I enjoyed the playfulness, locations and sexual attitudes of Tanner and Madison, I felt like they actually enjoyed being with each other, and finding ways to bring further enjoyment to each other.
The dialogue and reactions of the characters was realistic, the action scenes filled with tension, and the chemistry between Tanner and Madison strong. I have to complement the author on leaving no portions of the plot dangling or left unresolved, there is no cliffhanger - in fact this book can be read as a standalone, even though the 6 main cowboys/officers will each have their own books, and I suspect cameos by characters we have already meet.
I enjoyed the ease of reading, characters, the town, and the overall premise of the series and suspect that I will be back for a visit as the other books in the series are published.

Justice Healed Book 2 Cowboy Justice Association edition by Olivia Jaymes Romance eBooks Reviews
Tanner, a 45 year old sheriff, and Madison a doctor embark on a love affair despite feelings of inadequacy with a mystery added to the blend. I enjoy the cooperation of the sheriffs from small towns in rural Montana. The romance is sexy but tasteful. Although the towns are fictional, I live in Montana and the characters could be people I know.
Tanner is a recovering alcoholic and the a sheriff. Some is running drugs in his town and he wants it stop. Maddie is home and is helping her father with his practice (doctor) these feel an instant attraction. Tanner is a little out of sorts because of the age difference. But Maddies doesn't care. I will have to say poor Tanner has his hands full in this book. I loved Tanner a mature older sexy cowboy. I enjoy the book and will read more of this series
Olivia Jaymes knows how to create memorable characters, like Sheriff Tanner in Book 2 of Cowboy Justice! He's very protective of people he loves, a good lawman, a former Ranger, and a hunk. He is also a recovering alcoholic, sober for 10 years. He has 2 grown children and an ex -wife; his son is drinking too much and seems to hate his father. When Madison moves back home to join her father's practice as a GP, she and Tanner are drawn to eachother in spite of a 15 years age difference. This story has drama, humor, love, drug cartels, and a vigilante. This is a sensuous good read!
Once I fall in love with book 1 of a series, I am excited to read book 2, but also have some fear if the book will live up to its predecessor. I had no worries with Olivia Jaymes' 2nd installment in the Cowboy Justice Association. I loved Madison and her dedication to her father as well as her medical career. Sheriff Tanner is not a young man looking for love. He is approaching middle age, with a lifetime of regrets behind him. But theirs was a love story told so well and I rooted for them every step of the way. Love this book and so glad I discovered this author!
I really enjoyed the first book in this series and looked forward to reading the next in Olivia Jaymes' Cowboy Justice series. This tale had some original characters in that it was a bit of a May-December (well, more like May-October) and the hero had much more going on in his life than an ex-wife. I really enjoyed the way Ms. Jaymes dealt with the issues of alcoholism and family, and what it takes to heal. Good tale, worth the read.
I seem to be reading this series out of order, but it makes no difference just as long as every last one is read. That's how good this series is. Here we meet returning home town doctor Madison Shay and Sheriff Tanner Marks. We reunite with several more sheriffs and one very special best friend. Now, there are plenty of bad guys for these guys to handle and a special retired officer named Scout and you won't forget him. Just an all around good book to read by an excellent author!!!
I just loved reading this book. Tanner is a good man, humble, who has learned to live with his flaws & insecurities. He quietly & in steadfast manner falls in love with Madison. She is a bright, direct, sweetly innocent young woman coming home to a past where she was the town nerd, giving her some understandable insecurities. Their love story is about 2 people that are really believable & you really care about. From the beginning they want a relationship, have no big dramatic issues & they work toward that. Gosh--people you can really like. Don't make the mistake of thinking they will be too sweet, as that isn't so. The love scenes are steamy, the issues are real life issues. But it's refreshing to read about a couple who both want the relationship & work toward that. Without promiscuity, insta-sex, & unappealing qualities. And even---a very good story that doesn't revolve around every other page of sex. It's a complete book All other characters in the book are equally interesting. I read about 5 books a week and don't read many I like this well. I actually read it again about 2 weeks later as I liked the characters so well.
